Farmers Cooperative Representatives got the chance to take part in the Can Care-a-Van through our donation of $1,500 to the Blue Valley Community Action Food Pantry in Geneva on behalf of the Farmers Cooperative Hunger Program. Representatives presented a check to the Can Care-a-Van the showcased the $22,130 that Farmers Cooperative has donated to Food Pantries within the Southeast Nebraska Farmers Cooperative territory. Farmers Cooperative employees met with John and Tarryn Vanderford of 1011 News and Farmers Cooperative’s representatives got the opportunity to promote our Hunger Program on Pure Nebraska.
Thanks to Farmers Cooperative Employees and the Board of Directors, the company with the help of Land O’ Lakes has been able to donate over $47,000 to food pantries within the Farmers Cooperative trade territory. Company employees have been traveling around to the local food pantries to deliver the donations. Farmers Cooperative even got a special shoutout from the 1011 News Team and a spotlight on Pure Nebraska during the 2018 Can Care-a-Van.
